Maureen Gallagher, PhD, SEP is a somatic psychotherapist, trauma educator, and the founder of Somatic Inner Relationship Focusing (SIRF) — a body-based, compassionate parts work model that integrates Somatic Experiencing and Inner Relationship Focusing (IRF). Her work centers on helping people build meaningful, transformative relationships with their inner world — especially with the parts they’ve exiled, criticized, or misunderstood, perhaps for their entire lives up until this point.
With over 30 years of experience in private practice and education, she is a faculty member at Somatic Experiencing International (SEI), a certified Inner Relationship Focusing Trainer, and a certified supervisor in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy.
Her work offers a grounded, tender invitation to move beyond self-sabotage and toward inner trust, nervous system regulation, and deeper self-relationship.
“Maureen's teachings are clear and meticulous, safeguarding the integrity of the material she teaches. Her teachings are practical and can be integrated into my work seamlessly.
